1 - Pick your plugs
Read through our products page to find the right ear plugs for your needs.
Then decide on what colour (or colours) you want, and make your purchase.
2 - Get your impressions taken
To make your custom-fitted ear plugs, we need impressions of your ears. There are a couple of options here:
- Make an appointment with us
- Not local to us? We can help find a qualified impression taker for an additional charge.
3 - Receive Your Plugs
Your impressions will be passed to a technician in our lab, who will hand make your ear plugs.
Once they are finished, you can either collect your ear plugs from us, or we can post them out to you. We send all our plugs by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
Having custom ear plugs made and fitted will be a new experience for some of our customers. We use our knowledge and extensive industry experience to make the process as simple, straightforward, and hassle-free as possible.
The quick and easy process involves three simple steps:
Step one – You choose your plugs
Firstly, you need to select a set of moulded ear plugs to meet your specific requirements, so take a look through our products page and get in touch if you need any advice or assistance! Once you have selected a set of plugs, decide which colours and glitters you would like, and make your purchase.
Step two – We take your impressions
The beauty of custom ear plugs is that they fit perfectly in your ears every time you use them. To achieve this perfect fit, we need to take precise impressions of your ears.
How we take the impressions…
Taking your impressions usually takes around 10 minutes in total. We check your ears by looking in to them to make sure they are clear and it is safe to proceed to take your impressions. We gently place a foam block in your ear canal, ensuring that it sits at the correct depth, in order to protect your ear drum.
We’ll pump hand-mixed, medical grade impression material into your ear, leaving it to harden for around 5 minutes. Then we’ll carefully remove the impressions from your ears and pass it on to our specialist technicians, who will make your moulded ear plugs. We will then check your ears again to make sure your ears are clear.
Whilst you are having your impressions taken you can select the colours and glitters that you want and complete your order paperwork and payment.
Making an appointment
We offer a flexible appointment service that works around you – simply get in touch to let us know when you are available, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. We also offer Saturday morning appointments.
To arrange an appointment, simply call us on 01444 400494 during office hours, drop us an email at email@example.com, or call in and see us.
Not local? No problem!
We produce moulded ear plugs for people based all around the country. If you don’t live locally to us, that’s no problem – you can either contact us to see when we will be at an event in your area or you can arrange to have your impressions taken by an audiologist or an alternative dispenser in your area for an additional cost – usually in the region of £30. Just give us a call on 01444 400494 during office hours or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll help you to find your nearest dispenser.
Step three – We’ll hand make your ear plugs
The final step in the process is to use the impressions to hand-make your custom ear plugs. This will be done by one of our highly trained, professional technicians in our dedicated lab.
Once your ear plugs are ready, we’ll post them out to you Recorded Delivery or if you would prefer you can pop in and collect them.
If you have any questions, or to discuss the process further, please do not hesitate to contact us during office hours on 01444 400494 or email email@example.com – our dedicated team are always happy to help.
